Dowd is an Low Watt Bulb

Filed under: News — lmwalker @ 5:12 pm

Best of the Web has a headline, kicking story about Maureen Dowd’s idiotic column bashing Clarence Thomas for daring to vote against affirmative action.

As the Wall Street Journal points out: “Dowd pretends as if there’s no substance to Thomas’s argument–she labels his dissent a “therapeutic outburst”–yet she unwittingly illustrates the truth of one of his arguments, namely that racial preferences stigmatize blacks, whether or not they relied on them for advancement.”

Apparently, Dowd thinks that Thomas’s decision can’t be based on education, experience or conscience, but only his race. Where does the New York Times find these idiots?
