Does He Have a Shot at Invincible Ignorance?

I write enough about my disgust with abortion, so ’tis only fair that I express my equal disgust with the murderer of the abortionist.

Dr. George Tiller, the nation’s most prominent provider of controversial late-term abortions, was shot and killed Sunday in the lobby of his Lutheran church in Wichita, Kan., where he was serving as an usher.

George Tiller was a contemptible man, but vigilante justice is not an acceptable solution in this country.

One Woman’s Choice

Eighteen and pregnant, Sycloria Williams went to an abortion clinic outside Miami and paid $1,200 for Dr. Pierre Jean-Jacque Renelique to terminate her 23-week pregnancy . . .

According to Williams and the Florida Department of Health, she went into labor and delivered a live baby girl . . .

One of the clinic’s owners, who has no medical license, cut the infant’s umbilical cord. Williams says the woman placed the baby in a plastic biohazard bag and threw it out.

Police recovered the decomposing remains in a cardboard box a week later.

Be Fruitful and Multiply

The Japanese birthrate has plunged to a level where companies are scheduling procreative activities for their employees.

At 1.34, the birthrate is well below the 2.0 needed to maintain Japan’s population, according to the country’s Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare.

I think ours was at 1.41 last year.

Liz Morris noted that she “was marching to protect her future Social Security” at the March for Life last week.

It’s funny because it’s true, but this basic economic concept of replacement population is lost on Nancy Pelosi, who fails to understand that all this proposed debt for future generations will never be repaid if those generations fail to be. But then again, Ms. Pelosi is an undeniably uninformed – one might almost say “obtuse” – woman.

When In Doubt, Choose “C”

Just so I can jump right back into politics . . .

Roe IQ Test

I got 11 out of the 12 questions correct for a 91.67%. I missed the one about which country makes it the easiest to obtain an abortion. I didn’t choose the obvious answer. Silly me.
