Dementia Started It. Dementia Will End It.

Filed under: Politics — lmwalker @ 4:17 pm

The NHS may collapse:

The predicted rise in dementia over the next two decades could destroy the NHS, say top scientists in an open letter.

An ageing population means the burden of dementia on the UK will double to £35bn-a-year within 20 years.

As Best of the Web points out, that means that not even a single generation received “cradle-to-grave” care, as promised.

Ah, socialized medicine.

  1. Are you restricting the use of “socialized medicine” to just mean a single-payer system (e.g., government) or a system where society as a whole gets burdened by caring for those with no health insurance?

The costs of the Republican Medicare Drug Plan will come home to roost in The U.S. soon enough.

  3. Oh, you mean that mah-velous Medicare system established by a Democrat as an extension of the Social Security System established by another short-sighted Democrat?

Coupled with their enthusiasm for killing off the next generation, I can only conclude that Democrats have nary a rudiment of economic understanding.
