The Shiny Guy Always Worries

Filed under: Entertainment — lmwalker @ 1:11 am

This is the best distillation of Star Wars I have ever, ever heard. Or, as Toly Delm aptly puts it, “that was more coherent and with better dialogue than Episode III.”

I also really enjoyed the review of the review.

  1. OHAI.

Not to go off on a tangent, but not that we only have one HD format, Star Wars should now be rereleased on HiDef. Hooray!

  2. *The* Social Liberal? There’s jsut the one?? Huzzahs! We’ve got the next election sown up! πŸ˜‰

  3. Sorry, that should have read “just”, not “jsut.” And, “sewn”, not “sown.” Jeepers! It’s a good thing I’m not the only representative of Social Conservatism…

  4. LOL, this was cute. I’m thinking there needs to be a 33-year old’s critique of the 23-year old’s critique of the 3-year old’s critique of the Star Wars films…any volunteers?

Janice, no worries, we all make splleing mastikes from teim to tiem.

(shh…don’t tell anyone, but if you use firefox, it now has a built-in spell checker function for forms)

And don’t let Howard fool you… he sounds pleasant until he starts trying to trick people with his not for abortion, only for choice rhetoric. IMHO, its *the* lamest excuse ever. I mean, if he’s for choice, then I suppose he’s for other harmful choices as well, like the legalization of crack. IMHO, of course.

  5. On this board, I’m seemingly “the” social liberal.

One HiDef drawback is that you can see things that you weren’t meant to see with the original footage.

Andrew, you may still come over with Laura when we show the trilogy and I promise there will be no abortions or gay marriages performed in our home while you’re there. Fair enough?

  6. I’d look forward to it; however, I’m not sure if she’d want me to come… I might ruin the ending πŸ˜‰

    Got a time-frame Howard? πŸ™‚

  7. You’ll have to ask George Lucas for a timeframe.
