It Wasn’t a Crocodile

‘Tis a pity about the death of Steve Irwin. What a way to go!

It was a freak accident. If the stingray hadn’t directly pierced his heart, he would still be alive.

Crazy that. I never really considered that he was putting himself in really, truly dangerous situations.

  1. I remember on my Carribean cruise signing up for snorkeling with the stingrays. I was both relieved and dissapointed when they canceled this excursion due to the weather.

With this news, I am more on the relieved side.

I bet he’d still be alive had he not pulled out the barb. Wait till you get to the hospital, then let the doctors pull it out, when someone has a snowball’s chance of stopping the bleeding.

  3. Ah, Steve Irwin. Forgot to mention it at your gathering, Laura…it had just hit the news. Fortunately, his daughter is interested in doing what he did.

He’ll be missed. He took television to a whole new level, and was a legend in his own time.
