A Capstone Event

James Bond has received a whuppin’:

The new James Bond, Daniel Craig, now has some battle scars after being left toothless and bloodied when a fight scene for the new flick, “Casino Royale,” did not go as planned . . .

A film insider says, “Daniel was filming with some minor actors when he got hit in the face. He was reeling from a heavy blow and staggered back holding his face. He put his hand to his mouth but the blood started to seep through his fingers – it was horrible.”

I can’t think this bodes well for the competence and suavity of 007.

  1. Perhaps next time they’ll think twice before calling them “minor actors.”

And if the fake James Bond has to take a real ass-whuppin’, he should at least get to really sleep with a Bond girl. Seems only fair.

  2. Perhaps, for the safety of the actors, they could make Bond movies less dangerous:

“Do you expect me to talk?!”

“No, Mr. Bond. I expect you to go to the UN Security Council and wrist-slap me with sanctions in a feeble attempt to halt my plan for world domination.”

    Da-NAAA!

I believe the term is “celebrity-challenged.”
