Top Five Thanksgiving Treats

Filed under: Rambles — lmwalker @ 10:37 am

Favorite Thanksgiving foods because a topic of discussion around the family dinner table last night. (Actually, the number of attendees forced person-spillage into the adjoining room, so two tables were required.)

These were my choices:
(1) Stuffing
(2) Cranberry sauce with whole cranberries
(3) Stuffing mixed with cranberry sauce
(4) Turkey
(5) Mashed potatoes (but only as mashed by my brother and my Uncle Ken)

  1. Hmm, I think you need to clarify if the turkey was white or dark meat, whether the cranberry sauce was home-made or canned (we had both), and you forgot the black olives ;o) Don’t forget the best sweetened ice tea in the world. I also don’t see any mention of pumpkin pie, banana pie, or apple pie. And most importantly…have to have home-made rolls… mmmmmmm trying to go back in time now, thanks alot!

  2. I think you were talking Thanksgiving dinner. But if you were talking Thanksgiving treats — Rice Krispie treats are tops!

  4. How in the world did you get 23 people around just two tables?
