The Blond Bond

Filed under: Entertainment — lmwalker @ 1:59 pm

So the new James Bond is a relatively unknown Brit. Interesting. I guess I’ve seen him in Road to Perdition and Lara Croft: Tomb Raider, but he’s just not ringing any bells.

The actor, who found fame as Geordie in the BBC series Our Friends in the North in 1996, got the job after an 18-month mission to replace Pierce Brosnan . . .

Craig, 37, whose choice will be confirmed by producers Barbara Broccoli and Michael G Wilson later this week, will be the sixth Bond, but the first blond.

Funny – I would have pegged Roger Moore as a blond.

  1. Hopefully he’s no more memorable than say, George Lazenby or Timothy Dalton.

what’s that thing on his head? his hair looks fake! Too smirky, WAY too smirky. Bet the man’s got a weak voice. Anyone else look at his Gallery? yes, I see bad things coming of this.

  4. yes, I see bad things coming of this.

You mean like a series of bad Bond movies, one after another, until they finally realize they need a good actor that people like who seems made to play the part?

    Like that’ll ever happen….
