Crossing Every T

Filed under: Anecdotes — lmwalker @ 2:58 pm

The past couple days, I’ve had quite a bit of fun with a typing test.

Gross Speed: 70 words per minute
Net Speed: 69 words per minute
Accuracy: 98%

It’s all about the accuracy. Go, me.

Hmm, wondering if I was just too distracted last night to do this good. I still don’t like that it doesn’t let you backspace and fix your errors…that irks me ;p)

What good is the speed if you don’t have the accuracy?

  3. lol, but my accuracy was better than your first test…did I not convince you of this last night? ;o)

The last test was done while lying on my couch with the laptop on a pillow…. this test was done sitting at my desk…and in case you are wondering I use approximately 3 fingers to type, so… I think we know who’s better at typing, don’t we? You just can’t admit that my superior speed and my efficient error correction outstrip your piddly little 75WPM… :oD

  4. The exercise was
I think that all good, right thinking people in this country are sick and tired of being told that all good, right thinking people in this country are fed up with being told that all good, right thinking people in this country are fed up with being sick and tired..I’m certainly not, and I’m sick and tired of being told that I am.

    You typed
I think that all good, right thinking people in this country are sick and tired of being told that all good, right thinking people in this country are fed up with being told that all good, right thinking people in this country are fed up with being sick and tired. I’m certainly not, and I’m sick and tired of being told that I am.

    Your accuracy was impressive.

    Your speed was 98 WPM

    Your typing speed is good
    Try it out for yourself:
    http://www.learn2type.com/index.cfm?action=TypingTest

Its straight forward, and allows you to correct your mistakes… and it doesn’t use annoying English spellings, rather than American English spellings like your previous site.

And this was with zero mistakes.

    ‘Nuff said.

  6. Well, I made about a billion errors and it couldn’t let me correct them, so… I type pretty fast, but my accuracy is for the birds. Thank God for spell check.
