High Flying Adored

Filed under: Rambles — lmwalker @ 4:49 pm

Skytrax has compiled a list of the best airlines in the world.

No United States airline made the cut, although JetBlue won top prize in the “Best Low-Cost Airlines Worldwide” category and both JetBlue and Continental placed in the top three of their region (namely, North America.)

Continental also placed in the top two of “Business Catering” for intercontinental business class.

I haven’t flown any of the top ten airlines except British Airways. It was a pleasant experience and I am excited to hear that there are even better airlines out there!

  1. They listed Air Canada??! Are they kidding?

…Then again, it’s not like there’s formidable competition in North America.

Still, Air Canada is one of the most aloof, least accommodating protected-monopoly airlines out there. And that’s without having to deal with the hellhole that is Pearson International Airport.

Also, while I’m by no means a Euro airline expert, I can’t believe SAS didn’t make the list. That is one fine, no-BS airline.

  2. SAS makes a fine, elite fighting force too 😉
